Working principle

First, place the lighter, U disk and other items to be printed in the appropriate printing position and fix them. After starting the two-color pad printing machine, the pad printing head first descends to one of the color inks in the open ink tray, dips the ink, then rises and moves above the substrate, transfers the ink to the surface of the substrate under appropriate pressure, and completes the printing of the first color. Then, the two-color shuttle system comes into play, and the pad printing head moves to the printing station of another color, dips another color ink again and transfers it. Through precise positioning and control, the two-color pattern or text is accurately overprinted on the substrates such as ashtrays and pen holders, and finally the two-color printing process is completed.

Operation process

• Preparation:

• Check whether all parts of the two-color pad printer are normal, including the transmission device of the two-color shuttle system, the pad printing head, the scraper and the open ink tray, etc., to ensure that there is no looseness or damage.

• According to the material and printing requirements of the substrates such as lighters and U disks to be printed, select the appropriate two colors of ink, add them to the open ink tray respectively, and adjust the viscosity and other parameters of the ink to the appropriate state.

• Place the substrate neatly on the printing workbench, and ensure that its position is relatively fixed through a fixture or positioning device to facilitate accurate printing.

• Parameter setting:

• Set key parameters such as the speed of the two-color shuttle, the descending height of the pad printing head, the ink dipping time, the printing pressure, the scraper angle and pressure through the operation panel. These parameters will be adjusted appropriately according to factors such as the shape, size and ink characteristics of the substrate to achieve the best printing effect.

• Trial printing and adjustment:

• Start the machine for trial printing, observe the effect of the two-color pattern printed on substrates such as lighters and ashtrays, and check whether there are problems such as color deviation, misregistration, and uneven ink. If there are problems, adjust the corresponding parameters in time, such as fine-tuning the shuttle speed and pad head pressure, and try again until satisfactory printing quality is achieved.

• Formal printing:

• After confirming that the trial printing effect is good, start the formal batch printing operation. During the printing process, the operator needs to continue to pay attention to the machine operation status and printing quality, and deal with emergencies such as insufficient ink and substrate displacement in time.

• Completion and follow-up work:

• When all substrates are completed with two-color printing, turn off the power of the pad printer, clean the remaining ink in the open ink tray, and properly store the ink container.

• Clean the pad head, scraper and other parts, remove residual ink, check their wear and tear, and replace them if necessary. At the same time, organize the printing workbench and prepare for the next use.
